Technical Artist

What do we need?

The resident Tech artist at Bloktopia will be the bridge between the creative and the technical for our “metaverse”. With at least two years experience in a gaming role, you will be expected to bring creative ideas and considered opinions to the table as a respected member of the team.

Apply to this role if you:

  • Are used to working in 3D environments in Unity with the Universal Render Pipeline.
  • Are well versed in 3D optimisation, performance and visual clarity through optimal shading, VFX and lighting applications. You are King or Queen of the shaders.
  • Have a good understanding of the Unity engine. Some coding knowledge is preferable.
  • Can problem solve art ideas and processes to budget and performance.
  • Are proficient in the tools to do the job, examples being 3DS Max/ Maya/ Blender, ZBrush, Mudbox, Substance modeller, Nomad sculpt etc.
  • Are a strong communicator, respected by colleagues and senior management. And can work proficiency in verbal and written English.
